For this project, the design goal was to create a pair of fully functional, wearable shoes which would be able to support the wearer at least 1/2" above the floor for a total distance of at least 20 feet.  The limitations on this assignment were that the shoes could only be constructed from paper, paper products, and adhesives.

original heel design- 250+ cut cardboard circles

First manifestation of shoes.  Failed because cardboard in heel compressed/opened too much with each step.  
Final manifestation of design.  Cardboard platform acts cushions each step.  Sturdy stacked heel supports step and weight.  
Curved up lip of insole allows user to roll foot through the step more comfortably, without straining paper materials
