An abandoned barn on a pumpkin patch in mid october after the summer colors have given way to fall. Taken in the afternoon. I pass this building regularly, one of many abandoned buildings in the small rural town I live in.

Fall Pumpkin Patch
The first pumpkin I've carved in a decade, I chose this subject as a compliment to the other side of the feeling of late october, Halloween. Shot as the sun had set to give the background a blue hue and allow the glow from the fire to feature prominently.
