A test done for a client that requested some alternative signage for a convention not having a defined idea about it.
I suggested to use Anamorphic illusions to create a printed vinyl carpet of their logo hovering above ground.
I also developed a system where I could test the illusion in a 3D digital environment for prototyping, allowing me to project an illustration on complex surfaces (see video) and extract the different distorted pieces of the image for printing, cutting and application on the different surfaces.
An easy way to create any anamorphic illusion allowing also to render a more or less realistic (depending on necessity and time) visual aid for presenting the concept to the clients.
