Background of a Quarterback Trainer

To Be the Best You Must Train With the Best
I am extremely passionate about football and specifically quarterbacks. My brand is all about training quarterbacks to be the absolute best that they can be. Not only physically but mentally. Being a quarterback, especially at higher levels, is about 90% mental and only 10% physical. Don’t get me wrong, to be a great quarterback you have to be extremely talented physically and able to make all the throws. However, regardless of how talented you are, if you can not handle the mental parts of playing quarterback then you will not succeed. What I will do is help quarterbacks that play at all levels develop the physical and mental parts of the game. We will do that through meetings, filmwork, and working out on the field as well. We are original in the fact that we are one of the only quarterback trainers that offer training on and off the field. This will help players a tremendous amount develop their game. We pride ourselves on being experienced and knowledgeable of the game. I will never ask a kid that I may be training to do something that I have not done previously. We are fairly priced and offer the most exclusive training out of anyone in the area. We want every player to get all the training they need and want which is why we try to keep our price down so they can come back. Players deserve to have someone train them who wants the best for them no matter what. We want the best for every player we train and will do everything in our power to help them reach all of their goals. We will have players around them that have played at the highest level which always helps to bring out the best of everyone there.

Background
My football and quarterback background started from a very young age. I have been around football since the day I was born. My uncle has coached high school football since before I was born and from that time on I have been going to football games. I grew up watching my cousin and brother play football their entire lives and that is all I ever wanted to do. As I got older my love for the game only grew stronger and I made the decision that whenever the day comes that I am done playing football I want to coach and train quarterbacks. Although it is hard to imagine not being able to play anymore, I am very passionate about staying around the game and helping players achieve their goals. I believe what inspires me the most about coaching and staying around the game is the comradery of the game. I played football at the University of Louisiana- Monroe and I built friendships that will last the rest of my life. Every football team I have played on in my life has brought me some of the best friends I could imagine. I believe that comes from being around like minded people who all must come together for one goal. A quarterback should be the rock and leader of the team and I believe that is why I fell in love with the position. Being able to lead a group of your best friends and teammates is one of the greatest feelings in the world. That is a large part of why I want to train and help quarterbacks grow and develop the mental and leadership side of being a quarterback and not just the physical aspect. I want to help kids reach the level that I was lucky enough to reach and get to feel all those things. I believe building a relationship and trust with players as a trainer and coach is extremely important. The same way it was as a quarterback gaining the trust of his teammates. I believe that is what prepared me to be able to coach and train quarterbacks to be the absolute best they can be. A lot of my inspiration comes from seeing my brother transition from being a player to a coach at one of the highest levels. Just like all athletes it was hard for him to imagine being happy doing anything outside of playing. Although, as he transitioned he absolutely fell in love with coaching. I had a feeling that is what I wanted to do but being able to be a part of his process and see how he handled it really made me know for sure that is what I want to do. I have been lucky enough to play for some of the best offensive minded coaches in the game, and feel like that sets me apart from other quarterback coaches. I have played for 4 different coaches at the division 1 level, and they all did things very differently and taught me different things. Having played for them helps me be able to take bits and pieces from all of them and build my knowledge. Being able to take pieces from all of them and put them all together is something I have always wanted to do, and I want to be able to share that knowledge with other players and help them as much as it helped me. My players will be able to learn from some of the best offensive coaches in the country at the division 1 level. I had to go through a long process to learn from all these coaches, but my players will be able to get the best pieces directly from me.
