This project encompassed the idea of designing a destination and creating spaces where people can gather to learn, shop and relax. The design has a program that includes a public plaza and park, and an artisans and farmers market area.

Process

Two approaches were taken before starting the design: site analysis and massing analysis. With a thorough analysis of site conditions, circulation and figure ground representations the basic placement of the building masses were created.Through the analysis of the circulation the basic conditions of the new site were designed allocating two new vehicular entries going from Saint Julien’s street to Randolph street.
