Experimental Khadi Sari inspired from the crafts of India.
Exhibited at Naveli Khadi Exhibition at Craft Museum , Delhi
This was a long-term planned project under my Professor, Ms. Dimple Bahl's mentorship and guidance for the Centre of Excellence for Khadi (CoEK). I helped in the ideation, illustration, motif build up, and flats for the sari layouts. This Project is very close to my heart and exhibits the beauty of khadi in it's purest forms. Each sari softly narrates the forms of Indian crafts: Pichwai, Gond and Madhubani. Collected from the trees to the whispers of Pichwai lotuses, embeded in the unique birds of gond to the scenes of Madhubani.
Note : All the illustrations are created by hand and the pictures are from the exhibition.
