Habitual Goods is based in Christchurch New Zealand. All wares designed and produced by Habitual Goods are designed with the end-use in mind, using the best materials and local craftspeople. I was asked to produce a brand identity for Habitual Goods, a new homeware venture for Jono and Sarah Moran. The branding for this was heavily influenced by mid-century and Japanese furniture and ceramic labels, using brutalist angles and blocked out shapes in a more subtle style to give a nod to these original influences on the general Habitual Goods Aesthetic. The end result: a simplified all caps logo and a half-circle angles logo for use across packaging and product design
