Meditations for the Body, Mind and Spirit is the first instructional cd from Transpersonal Councillor, Meditation Teacher and Artist, Eugene Chattelle.  Through her consultations and mediation lessons, such as those on this album, Eugene aims to raise awareness in the knowing that, as we each gain a higher level of consciousness, our words, deeds and actions in the world take on higher meaning. Moving us, ultimately towards a deeper connection with all living things, as well as a greater sense of reverence, respect and appreciation for our planet and one another.

 

Produced and engineered by my good friend and multi-instrumentalist, Scott Mitchell of Sage Records, this is a beautiful journey through winding soundscapes, with the clear voice of Eugene to guide you along the way.

 

I was commissioned to produce a series of 3D nautilus shell renderings for the cover and disc art, as well as produce the full artwork layout and consult, in part, on the print production of the final piece.  

 

Eugene came to me with the shell concept because a strong part of her philosophy is focused around Sacred Geometry and the interconnection of all things through mathematical patterns like the Golden Ratio. One of the most iconic illustrations of these patterns occurring in nature is the formation of nautilus shells.

 

I'm particularly happy with the way the textures turned out in the final render, which were digitally hand painted, with several versions mixed together to achieve the final result.  As a 3D VFX suite, Blender continues to do the community that built it proud in its ability to output such amazing results.
