'Vote, It's Still Groovy,' was a poster done for the AIGA 'Get Out the Vote' initiative back in 2012 (never submitted). The initiative's goal was to get young people to the polls for the presidental election, a group that is often low in voter turnout, by promoting the event with trendy and relatable posters. 'Vote, It's Still Groovy' calls upon the late 60's and 70's when it was still 'groovy' to vote. Young people at the time were being drafted into the Vietnam War at 18, but yet were being denied the right to vote until they were 21. The image was handrawn and scanned in to represent the culture of the time.
