6 Creative Strategies
Art 235 Project
Project Brief
I am a BYU-I graphic design (Art 235) student. Through Project 6 Creative Strategies, I learned the concepts of Combination, Isolation, Metaphor/ Simile, Change of Context or Environment, Physical Shape similarity, and Material Change. I tried to interpret it with creative imagination from various angles through the spoon, a tool I use too often.
Process
I did a lot of research and created a lot of imagination. Subsequent sketches helped with constant challenge and imagination.
Finals
As the first design to start, computer skills were immature. 6 Creative Strategies were completed through Photoshop.
Among the characteristics of the spoon, the shiny iron shines. Because of this characteristic, shooting stars in the night sky are very bright. I tried combining the two with their shiny properties.
Balloons are circles. The shape of the spoon is also round. Those balloons are flying in the sky. Even the spoon wants to fly in the sky. One of the balloons.
A sparkling silver spoon can see my beautiful eyes.
Metal spoons reflect light when it hits. The spoon may light up the night.
Spoons can also be made of silver, gold, metal or wood. The tree was a solid rose branch. The spoon bloomed again.
Spoons are usually used facing down. Rainwater also falls from top to bottom. When I turned the spoon upside down, it was like water.
