Life, In My Mind, 2022

In my European Literature class, we had been going over the novel The Stranger, by Albert Camus. The themes of ambition, the meaning of life, and finding happiness really connected with me. I wanted to create a piece that contrasted the bleakness of it. Rather than being Mersault, where he lives in complete nonattachment to the world until the moment of his death – and thus his discovery of the meaning of life, I wanted to show off my ambitions and passions in life.
