Where To Find the Student Loan Forgiveness Application
The Education Department has launched an online application for Biden's new student loan forgiveness plan, which could provide up to $20,000 in debt forgiveness for federal student loans serviced by the government.
The application is available through the StudentAid.gov website here. Borrowers are not required to log in to the StudentAid.gov website using their FSA ID (their unique username and password). Just fill out the online form, sign electronically and submit.
The Department of Education has been warning borrowers about the scam. You can apply directly through this official online application portal — you don't have to go through a third-party company.
