ABOUT THE BRAND
Lolita’s Candle Co. is owned and managed by Karla Capristan since 2020, a passionate and eco-friendly candle maker from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Their soy wax candle is all made in the kitchen, hand-poured with love in small batches to ensure the most quality.
THE TASK
For the second time around, Studio Happiness Of Anna has been approached to create a label design for Lolita's Candle Company to work on their Fall 2022 Collection (If interested, we also made their Summer Collection 2021 and Christmas Collection 2022). Karla required us to design a square-shaped and rectangle-shaped (without illustration) minimal design for her candle business that was launched in the fall of 2022.
THE SOLUTION
Our art direction for Lolita’s Candle Company fall label design is a simple style with minimal typography and layout to evoke cozy vibes and autumn feels. Not only will you appreciate their candle’s exquisite fragrance, but the jars/tins themselves can be part of the decor at home for the fall season. In addition, the neutral color palette of russian green, light french beige, navajo white, and burnt orange has been selected to symbolize individuality and comfort, giving the season warmth and coziness.
