DJI Osmo Mobile 6
If you use your mobile phone to create video, first of all, that’s absolutely fine, the technology crammed in these devices is phenomenal. Depending on your purpose, these devices are more than capable of producing high quality footage.  I wouldn’t recommend you try to pitch for commercial work however if this is the only video device you own, unless of course it’s for the manufacturer, then that’s exactly what you’ll do.

But have you considered the benefits of using a mobile specific gimbal?

DJI have released their Osmo Mobile 6, a gimbal specifically for using mobile devices to capture video.
An intelligent smartphone stabilizer packed with creative tools. Whether a spontaneous moment or a scripted film, Osmo Mobile 6 assists you in achieving your vision with ease.

Unfold, snap-in, and start filming. Between Quick Launch and the lightweight, foldable design, you're ready to film any exciting moment.

Looking to tell a story? Get dramatic angles and zoom with the built-in extension rod and newly added side wheel. Retake a scene as needed with up to 6.4h of battery life.

Want a creative spin? Warp time and space with Timelapse, or capture a landscape with Panorama. Not quite sure what to do? ShotGuides will assist your shots.

Editing has never been so user-friendly than with Osmo Mobile 6’s guides, tutorials, and AI-powered editing. Even "edit" as you film with ShotGuides.

Jump from the DJI Mimo app to the LightCut editor to create social media-ready content with one-tap editing and a large selection of templates to fit your footage.

So let’s take a look at the benefits, as stated by DJI.
With Osmo Mobile 6 vs Only using a smartphone.
DJI say,
“After experiencing the difference with Osmo Mobile 6, you won't want to go back to just a handheld smartphone.”
DJI have priced their Osmo Mobile 6 at £145.  For that you will get,
*The Osmo Mobile 6
*DJI OM Magnetic phone clamp 3
*Grip tripod
*Power cable
*Storage pouch

Do you, or have you used a gimbal for your mobile device?
If you don’t, would you consider using one?
