DRAPING-PAPER CRAFT
The beautiful part of design is that it applies everywhere.
Here this Draping Design represents the unveil power of WOMEN. As she shapes everything around her from being a mother to a wife.
Draping is the process to create the basic pattern or to design organically by playing with the paper and the fabric on the form.
PROCEDURE
- At first I wrapped a thin plastic over the Mannequin.
- I took some printed papers with different variation.
- ORIGAMI and KIRIGAMI techniques are used together to give them required form.
- Then pasted it on figure to turn it into a final significant Magical Fairy Theme.
UPSHOT
I ADMIRE SUPER-POWER WHICH IS WHY DECIDED TO MAKE A COSTUME BASED ON IT.
