I was obsessed with Norway and documentaries on Norway, and wanted to make an image that gives a similar feeling to that of the Norwegian fjords.

I was making this while I was switching from Blender to more industry standard softwares, and since I had promised myself not to use blender, I challenged myself to make the terrain using Houdini.

It turns out, that just like any other software, Houdini is easy to learn because of YouTube.

After watching about 2 hours worth of tutorials, I figured out how to use Houdini's heightfields, and admittedly, even though it is a little bit difficult, it is far more powerful than anything that blender has to offer.
