More often than not, light painting is used to bring an exciting element into still images, but rarely is it used as a form of motion itself.
This was an experiment in 'practical' visual effects. No computer magic was used in the creation of these, except to assemble the GIFs. I'd love to experiment with a longer piece in the future!
The type imagery were created using an iPad and a handy app called "Text Paint Pro"
