A 75.28m expedition yacht, CLOUDBREAK was designed for extreme exploration. Custom-built for an owner with a passion for the great outdoors, she is named after a legendary surfing reef in the South Pacific. Built by German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen in 2016, CLOUDBREAK has been managed by SuperYachtsMonaco from construction to charter. The ideal luxury yacht for modern explorers, she is fully equipped for epic adventures in the most remote destinations on the planet.
TC MEDIA commissioned me to join the team on two trips over the course of a year, heading through the Norwegian Fjords in mid winter and exploring the coast of Phuket, Thailand. The commercial film will highlight the capabilities of CLOUDBREAK, and it’s no boundary attitude to where it navigates and the experiences you can have on & off board, boasting a sizeable toy chest, helipad & three tenders.
The imagery here will be delivered along with the film as part of a media package supplied by TC Media. It was quite an experience to shoot in sub zero conditions above the Arctic Circle then having to combat high humidity surrounding the islands off Phuket in the Andaman Sea.
