~The China, the world. It took us 9 months to finish the design of “Bright Expectation” . It focuses on the ideas of the whole team on the Chinese traditional culture. Everyone in the team has paid great effort to it from connotation of Chinese culture to originality of the design. With its culture connotation of thousands years, Bright Expectation, a high-end gift cigarette for tobacco brand “ Yellow Crane Tower ”, conveys the traditional Chinese blessing.
~The world, the China. People forget tradition easily. Meanwhile, people also easily get moved by the beauty in the tradition. Bright Expectation, a phrase embodying beauty , means “bright future”. The design of Bright Expectation is filled with Chinese traditional elements. The ideas of mythical animals on the front of the cigarette case are taken from the design on costumes of the officials in Ming or Qing Dynasty by the designer, which symbolize different “good wishes”. For example, the golden pheasant symbolizes “luckiness” ; kylin means “kindness”; lion is braveness”；and golden dragon emblems “supreme power”. These elegant Chinese totems, the handwriting of great calligraphers together with the unique design of clouds and water on the cases convey different good wishes. The design of Bright expectation also uses Chinese traditional colors. Traditionally, men dressed in red while women dressed in green in Chinese culture. In ancient China, common people were fond of deep red and green, but nobles preferred deep purple and golden color. The golden design on white color symbolizes “wealth and fortune”. Bright Expectation adapts lightness, purity and saturation of Chinese classical colors, which appears a kind of classical beauty. The cigarette cases of Bright Expectation are divided in two series: round type 84 and clamshell type 84. The former is used in daily life, while the latter is for high-end gift.
