Be the Change: If you are the one
This is an exhibition design proposal for Rochester Institute of Technology's annual event known as 'Imagine RIT'. Imagine RIT showcases the innovative and creative spirit of RIT students, faculty and staff.

The purpose of this project is to create an installation that interacts with the audience to spread awareness about cruelty towards animals caused by hunting, by placing humans in position of the animals; raising the question, what if it were the other way around? Where humans are the ones being hunted.

The chosen space consists of two-circular open spaces near the RIT bus station. The area has heavy foot traffic and it would catch the attention of people walking by.

Two circular installations; an inner circle and an outer circle that follow the markings on the ground at the location.
• Each 6 feet tall
• 5 entrances to the installation
• Printed boards on both sides
        – Exterior of the outer circle: Images of cruelly hunted animals
        – Interior of the outer circle: Images of hunters taking aim

Inner circle set-up
Place 5 mirrors printed with targets facing the image of the hunter. When audience members stand in front of mirror, they would be able to see themselves as the target being at by the hunter with a target. This creates a sense of the possible emotion felt by the animals and conveys the message of "if you are the one".

Information and statistics on animal cruelty would be displayed in-between mirrors, along with how the audience can be the change.

• White board with purple and grey text
• Mirrors in between the text, facing the outer circle images
• Printed target (aiming) on mirror
        – Approximately 4 feet tall
        – Audiences can see their own images behind the target.
