KaleidoSoul was made in the Unity engine for the 48 hour event Global Game Jam.
This game is currently a WIP due to needed bug fixes.

Our small team consisted of:
 Miranda Bradley-Design/Code
 Cody Hard-Design
 Marc Huet-Design/Code
 Al Savell-Art

The theme for the jam was "We do not see things as they are, we see them as we are" and the diversifiers we chose to work with were:
-I am who I want to be: The game has characters, but nothing in their design suggests a gender
-Round and Round: Rotation is one of the primary mechanics in the game

With the constraints of the theme and our chosen diversifiers in mind, we concepted a game in which you play as a succubus-like demon who is collecting souls trapped in purgatory. The demon its self is genderless, but can be percieved as different genders(each ranging from pure to evil versions) to the ghosts it's trying to attract. Your gender perception changes based on your rotation, but so do the walls. The puzzle is in trying to rotate the walls in a way that will create a path towards the soul and also sets you to the gender/personality type needed to attract that soul.
