Here is time, frozen and in motion. The water washes over you, and so do thoughts and interests move through you. Nothing seems as easy to forget as the regrets of yesterday, time that passes by you and the world that disappears from your consciousness are just as easy to let go of. All of your problems are solvable, your day conquerable, your issues forgettable and that melody stuck in your head finally laid to bed, released from its repetitive reclusion in your solitude, rippling on the tiles of your bathroom wall. The flirtatious way the water drips and sprays feels like home, a gentle and warm reminder that water is where you came from, your ancestors will also know. The ritualistic meditation of rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat.
