Cedar cladding is created by pressing or heating the cedar log to soften it before using to make buck timber. The method is called grading and it makes the logs easier to cut by stripping small sections off, then re-pressing the entire piece to dry over a period of time depending on weather conditions to bring out its natural beauty.
