As always, she put on a fantastic show! It was a joy to film and piece together.
The following is a DVD loop I designed and edited for V-103's Soul Session with artist Janelle Monáe. The loop played in the lobby and inside the venue before and during the show, sans sound. It was also the template for V's Instagram campaign to promote the show and encourage listeners to try to win tickets.
It is a combination of my own animations and designs and performance clips from a demo reel that her label provided.
