Typeset and bookmaking experiment

I started this project by taking 4 excerpts on describing the nature of typography; starting with The Crystal Goblet by Beatrice Warde, Graphic Design in the Postmodern Era by Mr. Keedy, On Typography by Herbert Bayer, Eric Gill got it Wrong; a re-evaluation of Gill Sans by Ben Archer.

From there I laid out each page, developed a name for the work, designed the cover, and physically created the book; right down to the binding and cover.

The book was laid out in relation to the perspectives of each authors perspective; so it would develop from a traditional modern style to a more contemporary one, while keeping a relatively rigid structure and grid based composition.
