This project was reversed engineered from a Popular Mechanics magazine from 1964. I have 3d modeled the project train engine using Solidworks, and have also created blueprints to build the project. I am offering them for any DIYer's who would like a challenging project. The project engine should be powered by an electric motor, and will have to be upgraded for todays technology using a battery or two.  The track is another project that I will offer at a later time.
