Digital Art Design: Cavern Kaleidoscope
This is a digital design project composed of a Kaleidoscope made from a photograph of a cavern, from Maine. Though this was created digitally, the finalized version looks like an oil pastel painting, with lush vegetation and watermarks filling the corners of the image. The detail in the exterior and interior of the cavern shows a parallel depth of field within the middle of the photo. The goal of this project was to experiment with a naturalistic photograph that would be converted into a kaleidoscope, by adjusting the brightness and saturation.
