HEALSMART
Wound care is a significant burden to patients, healthcare professionals and the health care system affecting 7MM patients and costing an estimated 25 billion dollars per year. Frequency of dressing changes, wound complications and wound management drive the high costs and affect the quality of care and profits for home health agencies. 
Polyremedy introduced a personalized wound care system called HealSmart to create a personalized patient solution that improves outcomes by standardizing the assessment and care of wounds.

Targeting the home health care nurse, the challenge was to create a brand that would encourage the belief that HealSmart is the best way to manage wound care when the current mindset is that the existing method of wound care is good enough.

DESIGN DETAIL
The HealSmart logo was inspired by the cohesive and results-driven wound care system. The contrasting typeface weights reference the healing process, the scripted font used for “Personalized” emphasizes the uniqueness in each product while the brackets reinforce HealSmart as a system of healing. 

Bold complementary colors demand attention and take advantage of the cultural understandings of royalty and authority that purples and golds represent. The platinum backdrop suggests both the sterile, clean environment necessary for wound care and the advanced technology applied to the products.

Clear iconography and concise descriptions enhance user experience and assist in proper usage creating a seamless experience from printed information to the experience with the product.
