The Hit: Editorial Lookbook

The Hit was inspired by the vintage feel and forbidden love of Bonnie and Clyde. Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were American outlaws who traveled the central United States with their gang during the Great Depression. Known for their dozen-or-so bank robberies, Bonnie and Clyde were believed to have killed nine police officers and several civilians. Bound by their love, and high on the chase, Bonnie and Clyde became the depiction of the perfect couple driven by love. Glamorized as a cigarette smoking, killing machines, the lovers ran from the law hand in hand. We tried to stay true to the criminal forbidden love feel to the photo-shoot while incorporating a vintage clothing style throughout. We found vintage pieces that we felt portrayed the time period of Bonnie and Clyde. We also tried to push a style of bad girl/ bad boy throughout the shoot.
