Part of the Bachelor of Music degree program at Cornish College of the Arts requires music students to perform recitals. Since Cornish is one of only 3 visual and performing private art schools in the country, collaboration among the different disciplines is essential to keep creativity flowing.
The recital poster is for Anthony Canape, a jazz vocalist with a bold personality— the same personality that decided to name his junior recital "SOUND BOOTY!" (...Fabulous, right?)
The intention of the poster is simple: focus on the title, incorporate the unpredictable essence of jazz music, and instantly attract viewers to attend the show.
