"Snail Kingdom"
"Snail Kingdom" refers not only to the name of the city on his back, but to the background as well. The viewer is brought down the level of the snail so that they can truly be a part of this world. Reference was used for the town and snail, but changes were made to add color to the shell and town's silhouette. The snail carries the weight of all their lives with great dignity, and its double antennae resemble the wise whiskers of an old man. He nods to the viewer and carries on his way.
