STORYBOARD DESIGN FOR E-LEARNING
The flow of the storyboards was planned to effectively communicate all the fundamental concepts of color theory.
The academic content was broken up into smaller sections and animated visuals such as images, illustrations, logos, graphics and text along with voiceover were added to make the content more engaging and establish a more cognitive connection with the student.
We also planned video shoots with live tutors who were brought on board to record demonstrations for practical videos, introduction to the modules, introduction to the learning objectives of each module as well as for conclusions.
*** At the time of building the storyboards, the video shoots were still WIP, hence stock photos have been used instead to imply the same.

Course title: Color Study
Goal: Upon completion of this course, the learner will demonstrate an understanding of the various colors combinations in the color wheel.
Learning Objective: To establish an understanding of the color wheel, the variety of combinations available to a design student and how the student can apply it in the process of fashion design.
Frame #10 and FRAME #12 talks about the primary colors on the color wheel and how designers over the years have created collections inspired by the primary color combination.
I wanted to create and animate the three colors in the illustration to establish a clear connection between the visual and audio. Some of these frames have a frame in frame with the tutor being present and talking directly to the students while the illustrations show up on frame for added emphasis.
A photo montage of the examples of designer collection being spoken about is the best way to establish a clear understanding with the student and create an instant relation between the audio and the visuals.
