The series of illustrations were the winner of :
"The Da’al’s Daughter” is a folk tale about a girl who was raised by a vulture(called Da’al). The king's son falled in love with her and hired an old woman to find the "Da’al’s Daughter”, the old woman found the girl and tied her to a tree then married her daughter to the prince instead of the "Dal girl".
When the king's son realized that he had been deceived by the old woman, he started looking for "Dal's daughter".
On the other side, a lion came along and ate the "Da’al’s Daughter” tied to the tree. from the blood of the girl, two branches of reeds grew.
After a while, the king’s shepherd saw the reeds and cut them to play a song but the reed told the story of "Da’al’s Daughter”, so the prince cut the reed in half, and "Da’al’s Daughter” appeared and etc.
