Palmieri
Realization of the brand and labels of three wines for the farm Palmieri.

Palmieri is a small winery located in Pontelatone, Campania. The concepts of territory, history, culture and wine tradition have been graphically translated into the logo and into the three wine labels.

To represent the farm with elegance and majesty, a brand was created by taking up the decoration of a Roman floor discovered only in 1955 along the ancient Via Appia.  It is the so-called domus of Confuleius, also known as Bottega del Tintore, of which we have news of its owner, and even of its architect, thanks to the inscriptions on the floor mosaics:

«Publius Confuleius Sabbione, freedman of Publius and Marcus Confuleius, sagarium, had this house made from the ground to the roof, being its architect Titus Safinius Pollio, son of Titus, of the Falerna tribe.»

The inscription was made, most likely, as a sign of self-congratulation by Confuleius to attest to his social ascent and his becoming a free man. This thought in fact wants to be the climb to the success of Palmieri, that thanks to careful values, respect for the environment and the continuous search for quality, lead the company to be one of the few in Italy to combine ancient tradition and modern technology in the production of wine.
The territory of Campania is a wealth of Roman history almost rare and little known nowadays, so much so that it was nicknamed Altera Roma by Cicero (today the city of Santa Maria Capua Vetere). The importance of Roman history in the territory of Campania could not be ignored in the making of the labels, so it was decided to reproduce the map of Capua Antica in three different versions: Pallagrello Bianco, Pallagrello Rosso and the historic and exclusive Casavecchia wine.
