App Purpose:
 
-To help people who are dealing with mental health situations
-It is to protect people from hurting themselves mentally and physically
-It gives people information on how to deal with (stressful / harmful) situations
            -Must be quick information
-Helps people in a way that it gives quick helpful information when people cannot function properly (any longer) due to their situation and therefore resort to going on the app.
-Gives useful advice to stop and inner and/or outer damage
-Provides other help lines if the information given is not useful to the person (they may talk to “professionals”)
-Helps privatize the situation if the person does not want to share their problems publicly.
-It can be accessed at any time (no wi-fi necessary – except for the hotlines and other websites)
-only app that offers this information and is directed to all audiences (10 and up)

Stop the Silence
 
The Stop the Silence App is to help people from the age of 10 and up can have a safe, private place to go to where they can get advice, and/or help for their problems, whether it’s self-harm, bullying, etc.
 
The Function:
 
One will be able to log on to the app to check/see your progress. There will be quizzes and tests to see you are experiencing and how it can be solved. There will also be help lines available in case the app is not helpful. There will be quick, but useful information. An immediate Help function, which will include lists of situations that will then have help lines that pertain to that specific situation.
