Zine - The Rowing Season

I created an 8-page zine describing my experience of the rowing season. The three inner-page spreads each focus on one of the three seasons encapsulated within the rowing season.
The fall spreads shows this season's focus on learning to row and participating in the long, time-trial style races called head races. Boats in an event will start 10 seconds apart from each other, racing down a 5000-meter-long course.
The winter spread reflects the harsher weather of this season that leads to a greater focus on land conditioning. Frequently, this means exercising on an erg, or rowing machine.
The spring spread reflects the travel races that are the culmination of the rowing season. Boats will be hauled across states to compete in sprint-style regattas and championship races of 2000 meters, where every boat in an event starts at once.
