Remote Astrophotography
These images were taken using remote telescopes of the iTelescope service. I don't have expensive astrophotography gear and I live in Sydney Australia which has many city lights.
Remote astrophotography is done by creating an image session for a target object and praying for clear skies!
If all goes well, a set of images are captured which can be downloaded and processed. I use the Pixinsight application to do most of image processing.
Pixinsight has a large learning curve and I still have a LOT to learn. These images are far from perfect, but I get great enjoyment once each image is completed.
I hope you like them.
