The purpose of this project was to create a book cover that would enable a total stranger to have a glimpse into who you are.

I decided to create a book cover for a story about a tortoise who gets himself into trouble due to his indecisive behavior, because I often find myself debating between two (or more) choices. 

I took the turtle's shell and made a pattern on the spine and inner flaps to make them more interesting than the flat color. The illustration of myself on the inner flap, was done prior to the project, but I thought it added to the cartoon-like style of the book.
