Storytelling for Innovation

Working with design innovation teams is always powerful and mind-opening.
Their design thinking process requires encapsulating information that goes beyond just data. They need to create a vision of how their projects will affect behaviours, feelings and experiences.

That is where visual storytelling comes into play.

It's a quick and efficient way to prototype visual language, jump-start a discussion, and learn new perspectives on the project. It’s a tool that you can easily share, it’s immediate and easy to understand.

But most of all, it’s really rewarding to get the teams excited about their discoveries and all their work!
Most of the work actually happens before the creation of visual assets, it requires a process of synthesis and testing through scripting, world building and storyboarding.
The story then takes the shape of animatics, animations or videos, depending on the level of fidelity required by the project.
Here's below an example of a video in low fidelity, ideal for presentation that require high degree of flexibility and fast production.
And here's an example of a higher fidelity scene. This kind of attention to details is guaranteed to leave a long lasting impression to all stakeholders involved.
