EUROVISION 2022
As we all know Eurovision 2022 took place in Turin, Italy and finished with Ukraine winning the contest.
I have been making illustrations and blog posts dedicated to Eurovision 2022 since the first rehearsals at the beginning of May. There were 40 contestants this year and therefore 40 blog posts for each act!
For the visuals of this project, I used the red, green and orange colours that were used for the branding of the contest itself, as well as Arsenica font for the typography.
Each post consists of an illustration of the singer or band representing a country. It is also accompanied by the written description of the song, artist, and their route towards the participation in the contest as well as the description of their performance based on the rehearsal footage available before the main show.
Since all the illustrations were made prior to the contest, the final look of the contestants was still not known until they appeared on the stage. That is why I decided to edit those illustrations, whose performers underwent some visual changes for the final show after the event took place.
