If you are given a blank 12’ cover to showcase the artist and genre, what do you put on the cover to attract the audience that are the biggest fan and for the one who just discovered the artist?
For this assignment we were asked to design four album covers, where 3 artists were of our own choice and the fourth were given by the teacher. The covers were also picked out in different decades and genres, going from the 70’s to contemporary time.
My choices:
For the 70’s (well technically in this case late 60’s):
James Brown – ‘’ It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World’’
For the 80’s:
Michael Jackson showcasing his whole album: ‘’Bad’’
For the 90’s:
Tupac Shakur – ‘’Dear Mama’’
For the contemporary (Assigned by the teacher):
Eric Prydz – ‘’Opus’’
