BALLANTINE'S STAY TRUE CITIES: A BLEND FROM THE NORTH

Ballantine's, The worlds finest Scotch whiskey isn't about just exposing the best whiskey to the people, they also pride themselves in bringing good music to the world. Thats why they devised the "Stay True Cities" content series. A series that would expose South African sounds and artists to the world.

I was tasked to write the second episode of the series profiling new-age hit makers "Mellow and Sleazy". Using their history of growing up in the North of Pretoria, we told their story of sound influences, food and the taxis that moved them and their music around.
