I was tasked to produce a newspaper editorial design. The large format size was initially hard to get my head round with the sizable fonts required for body type and headers, but I feel that it did eventually click, and I grew to love it at the end. The 55-gsm paper weight worked very well in giving the physical feel of a newspaper and adding to the overall experience. The font Urbana Light at point size 10/12 helped to give a very readable design together with a more professional feel. I think that the expressive type along with the use of imagery helped to give a playful satirical feel to the newspaper which was intended to make fun of the 2016 US election.
