Hokus is a production company/content studio based in Istanbul, Turkey. It aims to create high-end commercial films but also makes a brand for widely any image storytelling type, from screen printing t-shirts to creating free commercials for awareness purposes. Hokus is a community and a house before everything, and wants to share the experience, learns from the younger generation and takes it very seriously to be fresh and ready for new adventures.
In the visual world we prepared for Hokus, based on the theme of 'magic' ('hocus pocus!'), we turned this theme into the idea of a logo that symbolizes 'switching between different worlds.' Today, this transition between the 'real world and the digital/promised/enhanced world' has gained even more meaning and can put a magician and a production company in intersecting clusters. Thus, the context in the company's logo deepens its meaning by acting as a dimensional gate that can move its target audience elsewhere, rather than just being 'magical.'
