The Late Arrival, Silent Short Film

strengths and weaknesses with the pre-production stage

Strengths – I thought I did well with the overall plan and the shot list and story board
Weaknesses – I think my biggest weakness is my script as I just couldn’t get my words onto the paper

strengths and weaknesses with the production stage

strengths – I think I did well with making sure that everyone knew what they were to do and when and had picked the correct people for what I had imagined.

weaknesses – was not keeping up with different shooting days and peoples outfits

strengths and weaknesses with the post-production stage

strengths – I think I did really well piecing together all of my foot age as I had named them and made sure they were correct and was able to get the cuts well, so it wasn’t jumpy.

Weaknesses – will in the post production stage I noticed that one of the actors was wearing completely diffirent closes ( although we were able to re shoot ) and there is a part of my film where one second he doesn’t have a mask and then he does .

Strengths and Weaknesses with Communication throughout whole process

Strengths – I was able to get my thought over to at least one person of how I pictured scenes to go and they were able to help explain to the others.

Weaknesses – at first I really struggled to get my words on how I wanted things and how I hoped they would look.

Overall project thoughts and opinions

For this being my first short film project I thought it worked out better than I thought it actually would, there were certain areas that I could of done better at, but now I know what to do for the future.

Favourite and least favourite parts of the project.

Favourite – my favourite part was seeing everyone get involved and not making it a complete serious thing and we were able to make fun throughout the process

Least favourite – was the script writing as that is one of the things I just cant do
