Learning the basics for Design.  Balance is one of the keys.

 

Learning the differences for lines, planes, volume and curves.

 

Learning the importance of texture and how to visually recreate. 

 

In this project I am using all the basic fundamentals in design, with the main focus on Symmetry

Learning about dimension. The basics of design has so many factors.  Color, shape, texture, volume, etc. .   To design, you must learn how to create a pleasing balance with all factors.

 

Using Basic shapes to create a basic layout.

 

Adding color to basic shapes.

 

Here we were told to cut and paste items that inspire us or what we find pleasing.   Since purple is my signature color I was pleased to find a lot of pretty purple items.
