Title Sequence
The brief for this project involved the creation of a tactile illustration board, based on the word "Villain". I chose to do a title sequence for the upcoming movie of the most iconic Disney villain: Maleficent.
Using several iconic elements from the movie Sleeping Beauty, I approached the Disney fairy character with the idea of dark magic. Using as reference the title sequence for Black Sails by Imaginary Forces, in which there are no transitions between frames, I opted to design a sequence that incorporated straight cuts rather than animated transitions, to reflect the time period of the 1950s.
