It was a lot of fun pointing my camera to this moth. It didn't move much, so I had plenty of time to find a nice angle. It is a notarial animal. 

 


White Tiger Moth

They occur across Eurasia, but has increased in abundance during recent years. Adults feed on nectar and caterpillars on herbs. 

The birds are scared by their white colour and will not eat them while they are resting during the day.
