Here is a sample of the 80 MTG cards I made for the 30th birthday of a fellow kitchen table player of mine.
The themes of the cards are inspired by his personal life, so obviously there are a lot of private jokes – like the names of our friends or games we play. Also i'm French, so a lot of card names are wordplays, but texts are in english as we only play with english cards.
I'm a kitchen table player, so i tried to make the cards playable but the focus is mostly on the artworks and the wordplays.
These are also my very first digital productions, all in a short time. It was a chance to try out new things and get to grips with them.
