I rebuilt all of the sound for this scene from The Matrix.
-Ambients, hard FX, and music were collected from SCAD libraries and edited/implemented in Pro Tools.
-Dialogue was self-recorded.

 

I'm very pleased with how this project turned out. The clip was a great opportunity to try some new ideas and effects, and I felt like I had become comfortable enough with Pro Tools to really push the sound design past literal interpretation. I also enjoyed cutting and mixing music to flesh out the experience. This project was very involved but very rewarding.

Additionally, I now have an entirely new appreciation for footsteps.
